What I Do

Science-based PowerBuilding

PowerBuilding is a blend of bodybuilding and powerlifting - the pursuit of both strength and aesthetics simultaneously. Contrary to poplar belief, this style of training is beneficial regardless of your specific goal (of course with a change of primary emphasis depending on your priority). Building muscle gives you more long-term strength potential, and periods of strength training potentiates future muscle growth (Carvalho et al., 2020 📚). It is one of the rare cases where you can quite literally get the best of both worlds.

This style of training is also hugely beneficial to a lot of athletes. Improved body composition (muscle mass), strength and power contribute towards successful sports performance in nearly every sport.

Unlike the vast majority of the fitness industry nowadays, I root my practice first and foremost in the current scientific literature. There will be no fads, confusion, or made up marketing gimmicks - just evidence-based practice so you can rest assured you won't be wasting your time.
